Needs Lists for People of Romania...

Infant and toddler needs: (in the state orphanage system)

  • Interactive toys for the children
    -Musical toys, toddler push, riding, rocking and walking toys, activity centers for cribs (commonly called a busy box), puzzles, pop-up, inflatable beach balls, etc. (e-mail or call me if you have questions)

  • Cloth diapers and wraps

  • New infant and toddler clothing…no used clothing due to customs regulations

  • Medical equipment in excellent working condition only (especially microscopes)

  • Cribs and mobiles for the cribs

  • Exersaucers and walkers

Children ages 7-18 needs:  (in the state orphanage system)

  • Sidewalk chalk

  • Crayons

  • Frisbees, basketballs, playground balls

  • Jump ropes, tennis rackets, volleyball and tetherball sets

  • Chess boards

  • Plastic snap together models of cars, trucks, etc. (no glue required)

  • New underwear and socks

  • Combs and hairbrushes

  • Commercial grade playground equipment

Skills Center needs: 
(to teach basic life skills to 18-year old boys and girls leaving the orphanage system)

  • House-wares (non-electrical and in excellent condition)

  • Pots and pans, knives, silverware, dishes (Corelle), cookware (all sizes), non-electrical appliances, bake-ware, mugs and non-breakable glasses

  • Sturdy sewing machines in excellent working condition

Summer Bible camp needs:  
(children from the state orphanage will enjoy an outdoor experience for two weeks and learn about the love of God)

  • Sleeping bags

  • Tents: cabin tents or larger

  • Dutch ovens

  • Camp stoves, lanterns, camp kitchen, camp stools, etc.

  • Large storage containers such as Rubbermaid and Sterilite

ALSO NEEDED!!!  
Warm, adult-sized quilts or blankets for elderly families. (Must be new.)
