Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How much
does a website cost?
A: This answer varies depending
on the size and scope of your project, and what type of interactivity
and programming it will require. A "brochure" web site
with mostly html and graphics will be less expensive than an interactive
web site that is searchable and connects to a database.
Q: Do you host my site?
A: No,
but we can research and recommend a compatible web host for your
site. We look at how large your site is, how many visitors you
expect to have, and what types of functionality your site will
require. There are a number of options available for reasonable
costs (approximately $15-25/month).
Q: How do I get people to visit my web
site?
A: The
number one way we recommend driving people to your site is to
include your web address on every marketing piece you generate
and in every way possible. Include your web address on your letterhead
and business cards, list in print ads, state it on your voicemail,
and put it on your front door sign. Beyond that, you can also
register with search engines and directories, organize promotional
campaigns, create banner ads, and get links on other web sites.
Q: How do I get started?
A: The
first step is to read the process page to understand how it all
works. Next, fill out the Project
Profiler. After that, contact us to set
up a free consultation.
Q: How much do you require down?
A: We
require 1/3 of your estimated project costs as a down payment.
